Snow at the U.S. Naval Academy

First Snow of 2013

At this point in the year, I’m convinced the meteorologists in the Annapolis-Baltimore-DC area are playing jokes on us. This morning I woke up to the first actual snow we’ve had so far this year, despite a number of predictions that resulted in nothing but some rain. By the time I left my house there were already 2-3 inches on the ground, and it’s still falling steadily - all this despite a prediction of some wintry mix at worst for today. So far there don’t appear to be any adverse effects from the weather (I still had work today, which is really all I cared about). Based on the Radar picture, it looks like we’re not going to be hit very hard.

Weather Radar of Snow Storm March 25, 2013

Despite the fact that it’s nearly April, it’s nice that we’ve gotten at least a little snow this year.
